MISSION STATEMENT This site is dedicated to all the men and women serving in the military right now, especially the ones serving in Iraq & Afghanistan  protecting us here at home! This site is set up to bring awareness to the families  and soldiers who are struggling because they have either lost  someone who was involved in the war, or have been  injured in the war and are finding it hard to cope. We are producing a book to be sold  in the Comic/Graphic Novel market to bring a new awareness to the trials of war, using real stories from real soldiers and family members. We will do this with the utmost respect and dignity befitting our brave men and women now serving, as well as their families. All money received from the sale of this book will go directly to four charities: the USO, the " Fisher House" and the Wounded Warriors Project. & The Soldiers Memorial Fund All individuals involved in the production of this Graphic Novel are donating their time and services. No one will be making a profit from the sale of this book except the soldiers it is being created for. This I promise.

Hello, my name is Clayton D. Murwin AKA The Hero Maker. I am a comic book artist who would like to give something back to our brave men & women who have sacrificed much! I would like to know if you would be willing along with me offer your services pro-bono (free) to help me in an effort to help our men and women in Iraq & Afghanistan who lost their lives or were injured. I am working on  a Graphic Novel which would not put any money in our pockets, but help our brave men and women in this war. All proceeds would go to our fallen and injured. Via four designated charities 1) USO 2) Fisher House 3) Wounded Warrior Project 4) Soldiers Memorial Fund. If your interested please contact me via this topic or by email at cmerwin6@gmail.com. Thank you in advance for your consideration in this matter. This special Graphic Novel will be showcasing true-life stories from our men and women serving in the war or who  have served in the war. The Stories will be in their own words; they can be funny stories, heroic stories, touching stories, anything a service man or woman would like to say to let people know what it is really like in a war, the good and the bad. This would be just like a normal Graphic Novel with many artist and writers donating their services to bring this to life. Once the novel is completed then it would go on the market in several different venues. This is to honor the soldiers who have died and our soldiers who have been injured due to the war. I am going to do my best to make sure no one I mean no one abuses this in any way and all services will be pro-bono . I want to do this to thank the family's and soldiers who have sacrificed much in this war and have received little appreciation. And if you have friends who would like to share their stories, I promise I will see to it that  it will be done in the most professional and dignified manner. So let me know if you can help with the stories or if you would like to be one of the artist. writer , publisher etc... Thank you for your time.

Michael Hudson : Artist /President Ree Art Studios I have been involved in the art world for the past 29 years. My first interest was in cartooning, having grown up on a steady diet of comic books and movies, but life has a funny way of throwing curve balls and since I couldn't be either one of my heroes, Wally Wood or Errol Flynn, I ended up somehow as an accomplished landscape and portrait painter. I never got over my love of comics, pulps and movies from the silents to the Bs and a few years ago found myself longing to be a part of that culture. Call it middle age crazy but here I am utilizing my business contacts, design skills and love for these forms of entertainment to pay homage to the characters and creators I admire. BTW, I still paint, sell prints and do gallery shows and such as time permits.
